I am always delight when i get a seat near the stove althought the room is warm there is something nice about sitting beside it.So after getting my warm seat, i made my way to the counter, it is so nice to see the food before u decide. I had the broccli and cashew nut crepe with mixed leaves and roast potatoes. I have to say it was yum yum i even got another for take away for my partner. As i was at the counter the chef told me that all the veg is organic and the Vegtables are sold down stairs. nothing nicer than getting veg with out all the plastic wraping. final words, yum!! yum!!! yum!!!!

I would really recommend this place for a lovely lunch. The menu changes every day and includes home made pizza, quiches, falafel burgers, cornish pasties and 2 different soups. The salads they serve are amazing so fresh and full of flavour. Last time I was there I had a roast veg pizza slice with 2 salads, lemon and garlic cous cous and cajun chickpeas for €9.90. They also do lots of desserts and cakes too. The only thing I think they should change is let you have smaller portions of the salads and get to try say 4 different ones as it makes for a nice variety because sometimes they just give you half a plate of coleslaw...which is a bit much!

This restaurant is a gem. I was visiting Cork for a few days with my girlfriend, and hadn't planned on eating here, but we found ourselves in a bit of a pickle and wandered over to the Quays Co-Op shortly before they closed. We were delighted to find a wide selection of vegetarian tarts, quiches, salads and side dishes. The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious and quite filling. In addition, the restaurant is situated on the second floor of a building that lies along the quays of the South River, and has beautiful views of the river and downtown Cork. It was clean, affordable and we didn't feel rushed despite our being there after closing time. Will definitely visit the Quays Co-Op again, if I am in Cork.
