I like this restaurant because I get such fine wholesome food with a bit of this and a bit of that and can take anything on the menu away and enjoy Nash's at home next day! What I don't like about is if I don't get there before or after the main lunch time. I' be in a queue out on the street. I know that speaks for itself. I love their salads, soups and desserts but they don't make their delicious fruit crumble often enough!. I'm not a meat eater but when I see the very fine portions being served I weaken and take one away. The staff are so friendly and though they are all so busy they are the essence of what good staff relations should be and how to make a customer feel valued and appreciated. You won't get out of here without a fond farewell and a very genuine THANK You so why would you not want to go back?

Very family friendly. Recently visited Cork with the family, husband and 2 very small children. Had seen Nash 19 listed as child friendly so thought we'd check it out for lunch. Although the restaurant looks narrow, which isn't a good sign for those pushing buggies or prams, it opens up at the back and is spacey enough. Staff were extremely helpful and although the self service queue was long it moved quickly and we were soon seated and tucking into some fantastic home produce. The food was very good value and the service was attentive. Changing facilities are excellent and I'd definitely recommend it to fellow family diners.

Do not eat in this restaurant for value. I order 2 full breakfasts which came to 9.22 each. I was asked did i want tomato and mushroom but didnt tell me that it wasnt included in the price of my breakfast so that cost an extra 3.00. Plus I asked for a black and white coffee - the assistant said Americano I said yes Black one and white. I got charged .50 cent per coffee extra. I did complain and they apologise but didnt refund it. It is a disgrace that 2 irish breakfast in this day & age would come to nearly €25. I will not be going to this restaurant again. The breakfast was nothing to write home about either, I was really disappointed with this service.

NASH 19 Always a pleasure to visit Nash 19 and yesterday’s lunch time date with two colleagues was no exception as a warm welcome was followed by some top notch food and service, including a drop or two of mulled wine. Quite a few of you will have seen Tipperary’s Crowe's Farm featured in RTE’s Ear to the Ground earlier in the week. And their bacon was the main feature of my lunch. It was served with, among other things, an apricot chutney, and the combination was first class. Will be watching out for that bacon in the future. Amazing how much the pig has been on my table in the last week and a half. And every single time it was a pleasure, thanks to the skilled efforts of artisan producers such as Gubbeen, Woodside Farm and Crowe’s. Just couldn’t pass the Nash 19 shop on the way out without taking a look. One of my companion raves about their scones and picked up a few while I helped myself to a couple of fish pies which will reduce the workload for this evening’s dinner.

I had breakfast in here today before heading back up to Dublin. I've heard so much about this place, so had to give it a try. It was very busy even at 10am this morning. The staff were very friendly and assertive. I order the full breakfast and was very impressed with the food and service. The only bad point would be that it is a bit expensive, otherwise I would recommend this restaurant/cafe.

I often pass Nash 19 during the way and it is usually very busy, but having popped in for lunch this afternoon I just cannot understand why this is. The first thing I noticed was that prices were not advertised on the menu boards above the counter. My friend had secured a table and so we proceeded to the counter to order our food. I chose a chicken wrap with my own choice of fillings and a small cup of soup on the side as I liked the sound of squash, carrot, and orange. I prepared my cash and my mouth dropped as I was told this lunch was going to cost me 11.70euro!!!! My wrap was 7.75, the tiny cup of soup was 3.95, and there was an additional 13.5%VAT of 1.39. My friend ordered a bowl of beetroot and ginger soup with one slice of brown bread, and so she asked for a second slice. On reaching the counter she learnt that this one extra slice was to cost her 1.45, and the bowl of soup cost around 6 euros. What recession?!! For the duration of our lunch I wondered how Nash 19 was able to fill seats. There was little customer service, in fact I felt quite rushed when the waitress repeatedly offered us coffees after our plates were taken, and although I would have loved a coffee I was determined not to spend another cent in that rip off restaurant. No value for money whatsoever. Will not return.

I agree with the previous poster, the food here is second to none, fresh locally sourced and beautifully presented but it is very expensive. Had lunch here last week and a slice of goats cheese frittata and some side salad, upwards of nearly €13 which is too much for lunch.. It is a very nice place to go for a mid week treat and I must definitely try the breakfasts:)

Breakfast here is lovely, but it does add up. The attention to detail shows in the food. There is always a queue, but wow do they move them. High quality food and it is expensive, but you would be hard pushed to get better in other restaurants. If you are hungry go here.

One of the best places in Cork City for lunch, but there is always a queue. Never been dissapointed & keep going back.

I did not think what I got was good value for money. The Fishermans Pie was mainly potato, very little fish and the salad was just lettuce.
