I am just back from dining at this wonderful resturant. The staff were great, friendly and prompt but not a bit intrusive. The food was fantastic! I had the pork terrine which looked and tasted fab, then the duck confit with cherry sauce and fondat potato which was beautiful. To finish I had the chocloate & orange mouse, with granita and white chocolate cookie - it was devine!! My companions had the tasting plate to start which looked and tasted fantastic too by all accounts! All the fish dishes were cooked to perfection. We choose the prix fix menu and I thought it was superb value. I cant wait to visit this resturant again - Im just wondering how soon I can make it back! The only down side that I can mention is that it was quite hot! Maybe some air con wouldnt go a miss!

This 'fine dining' establishment has been one of the top destinations in Cork for some time with husband and wife owners packing an impressive CV. Overall it is indeed a fine destination. We had a couple of We mixed the better value fixed price menu, with the dinner menu. For starters we had the the tasting plate, and the scallops and Jerusalem artichoke puree. The tasting plate was excellent. The scallop and Jerusalem artichoke was less impressive. We didn't feel they matched each other very well. For mains we had the confit of duck, and the pork belly. The duck was slightly dry. The pork belly succulent and tasty. Both dishes however could have benefited from some more sauce. For desert we had the lemon plate, which was delicious. Overall very good, but a couple of tweeks and it could be perfect.
