Had an opportunity to go to Cork on Friday night and stayed in Jury's Inn. Decided to eat at the restaurant because the menu had some good choices and wasnt too badly priced. I was disappointed with the food though. I ordered a sirloin steak medium and my boyfriend ordered the burger well done. The waitress got it wrong and my steak was extremely well done and very tough, my boyfriends burger was medium. The manager said the waitress had got it wrong and offered us a free drink as compensation.....this didnt really compensate me for the experience of eating a horrible steak and paying €19.95 for it. Definitely not recommended.

Mediocre at best Appetizers and main courses were extremely ordinary..dishes that can be had in any regular cafeteria. The pasta was so horrible we couldn't finish it. The fish were probably the best to order of the lot. My dessert of rice pudding with wild berry compote was horrid..enough to put me off desserts a long time! The Bailey's cheesecake and Bailey's chocolate mousse however were certainly redeemable for the rice pudding. Service was quite slow but understandable due to lack of staff and an almost full restaurant.
