I have been to the Four Liars Bistro on a few occasions and I also had my birthday dinner here with a number of friends in April. There is such a nice choice of food and it's absolutely delicious! The chicken wings are AMAZING!!! :D Very nice portions and extremely reasonably priced. To top it off:- Lovely food, great choice, great value and last but by far not least - The cocktails are really good!! Highly recommended!

I absolutely love the Four Liars Bistro. The food is always amazing there. The portion sizes are nice and big and I never leave hungry. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff are great. It is perfect to go for a light bite or an evening meal. Their cocktails are the best I've had in a long time too! I love going there for a girls night out, especially because of the cocktails! The prices are easy on the wallet too. I would definately recommend it to anyone and I always bring friends and family there. I would recommend the chicken wings and steak :)

So the visit was okay. The BYO was very good! We each bought a bottle of wine and stayed in the restaurant until 11:30pm. The Atmosphere was good, the girls serving us were lovely however the service was still very very slow. The food was okayish. One of the other guests got the steak and raved about it. I got the pasta and is was ok. I had to sprinkle it in salt for it to taste nice, I thought it was out of a packet. Would I return again? Yes for the value, possibly with my husband, but not to entertain with other people.

We arrived to the Four Liars at around 9:30 and didn't make up our minds on what to order until around 10pm. By this time I was worried that the food would not be as good because it was so late and the kitchen was supposed to close at 10:30. We were pleasantly surprised! We both ordered off the ala carte menu. I got the tortellini in a lovely creamy sauce with vegetables and my boyfriend got the steak which was perfectly cooked and very tender. The service was fast efficient and very polite. They were eager to point out that all the ingredients were as local as possible. Overall, surprisingly enjoyable!

Oh My God!!! I had dinner there this evening. Could not get out of there quick enough. The place was empty when we arrived. Dark and dingy. Food was mediocre, main course food had not been cooked fresh. The main problem was staff? way over friendly. This made for a very uncomfortable night. I would never go back here again even though I had a voucher which meant a cheap meal....

Heard this was great, but we went here for the early bird before a show and it was shocking!!! Starters were grand but main course was horrible, i think we got half of one and other half of another plus was burnt!! Get mashed veg like you would give a child!! We couldnt get out of there quick enough!!

I was really impressed with the location of The Four Liars but was not too impressed with the food or the atmosphere. A varied menu, including indian dishes, but that always scares me a bit. Too much food on the plate for me, which always puts me off. Felt everyone in there was in a hurry and keen to get to the pub. Did not have a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very nice, friendly and efficient.

Find the restaurant extremely well presented fantastic food experience every time I have been there over a span of twelve years time can't wait for another visit. Fabulous chef.

Went to this restaurant about 5 years ago and found it extremely cold and the food just reasonable. Decided to give it another chance and found it that there was no improvement on the heating. Asked for a SuperSer to provide some heat - also heard others behind complain of this. The overall price was "Just" reasonable for what we had and the food - I had the Chick Curry which was a half breast of chicken on top of mash, and curried sauce placed around it was not hugely successful. May try this restaurant again in 5 years to see if any improvement

I have dined in this restaurant many times with my family for special occasions such as Birthdays etc and for a quiet meals with my boyfriend and we have always enjoyed wonderful food in a lovely atmosphere. I am looking forward to the next time I dine here!

As a regular visitor to Cork I have dined here with friends a number of times. It's a gem of a restaurant and the staff are great. The steaks are divine and cooked to perfection. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Great value Sunday lunch. A hit with my picky family as they really do serve wonderful food. Also enjoyed a lovely Valentines Day dinner here. Service was very attentive for the night that was in it and didn't feel rushed out the door as is usually the case in many restaurants on a busy night such as this
