Good, cheap food. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Friendly staff - I'm a long time customer. Food service can leave a little to be desired at times but its always home cooked, fresh and plenty of it. Theres a good selection of wines by the full and quarter bottles and a variety of beers. Not for a gourmet meal, but they serve pub food till about 9 or 10, great for a munch with a few pints.

What a little gem on a hot summers day in the City Centre, fantastic beer garden at the back of the pub. Had nice pub food, very reasonable and very nice, fairly good menu also and seemed to use as many local products as possible. Cant wait for next summer to go back!
