I ate here a group of my girl friends and could not say enough good things about the food and the overall experience. Although it is hidden away at the back of some shops in the town centre, once you step in the door of the restaurant you are really impressed by the decor and the staff. It is an authentic Italian restaurant and the food is fabulous! The main courses are not cheap but I found that the extras such as coffee, desserts etc were reasonable so overall it balanced out. We were all happy with our food choices and are looking forward to going back there again!

I love Bacco, it's an authentic Italian restaurant (if the waiters aren't Italian then they're damn fine actors!) and the food is delicious. My only quibble is that the menu isn't larger, but the dishes they do serve are always lovely. The atmosphere is nice as well - the night we were there I reckon we could have lingered till closing time without getting any hassle from the staff!

My partner brought me to Baccos for a special occasion. I found the atmosphere to be lovely and the staff attentive. It is a typical italian menu and the food is cooked beautifully. Italian is my favourite food and this is one of the best italian restaurants that I have found in Cork. I hope to get to go back there again soon. Oh and the house white - a trebbiano d'abbruzzo - was delicious!

I have been there a couple of times with my wife, great food great staff. The Italian beer and wine are very good - too good !!! Any time we go out it's to Bacco's - the children also like it !

This is a cozy little restaurant which is ideal for casual dining. The menu is very much standard issue for an Italian restaurant, with not much really standing out. The atmosphere is authentic Italian and the waiting staff are very attentive, especially the owner, who is always there and never misses a trick! There are one or two little nice touches like warm bread while you read the menu, and you even get a few sweets with the bill. All in all though this is a tasty, atmospheric Italian and comes recommended. Make sure you book ahead as sometimes could be left disappointed.

I brought my husband here for his birthday on Saturday and we both fell in love with the place. It seems you really do need to make a booking here, it was packed and eventually they had to start turning people away. The Italian staff are SO friendly and jolly. For starters we had muscles and cheesey garlic bread which were substantial portions and very very tasty. Then my husband had the black sole, which was brought to the table on a beautiful platter of salad and shellfish. The waiter removed the head bones etc at the table and presented it on my husbands plate, which is a great way to add a little wow factor to the service. I had the steak with garlic and sundried tomato sauce. It was cooked exactly how I wanted it which is always a plus! Even though the restaurant was busy we felt in no way rushed or under pressure to move. After our coffees we were left to have a chat and were able to relax. It's by no means a cheap menu but you really do get what you pay for. Large portions of excellent food and fantastic service. I will definitely be going back.

We have eaten in Bacco many times and ate there again recently. It is traditionally Italian. The atmosphere is cosy and you feel like it is just candlelit even though it is not. The owner is always there and the staff are lovely. The menu is fabulous - there is a lot of fish and seafood on the menu if that is your thing but as a non fish eater there are also lovely chicken and pasta dishes. I love the risotto croquettes to start and they have a lovely chicken and pasta dish with a creamy sauce but it is not too rich - just perfect. Their steaks are also lovely. This is a lovely restaurant with a real Italian feel to it and is well worth a visit.

We have been to this restaurant many times and it can boast about its food there is no mistake. We enjoyed our meal immensely again last week and for atmosphere and value I would certainly reccommend this cosy quarter.However we were let down by service after requesting the bill from the manager who dissapointed by the fact that we couldn't fit in coffee and desert forgot to bring us the bill. We eventually got up from the table and asked for it and paid for it at the counter but there was no apology from him. I feel that your customer is yours to impress to the last minute and that last ten minutes for us waiting did not leave us wanting for more!

I've eaten here twice recently and loved it both times. Nice atmosphere, the food is really good and they have a good selection on the menu. I would definitely go back again!

Its a lovely, cosy restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.The sole was amazing and was skinned and the bones taken out in front of out so te presentation was excellent.The pizza was very nice too.Maybe a little bit expensive but it´s worthy.I´ll definitely go back

i was in bacco last saturday night and it was extremely busy i ordered the black solea and i have to say it is the only restaurant that i have ever visted that they come to your table and remove the bones in front of you i was very impressed.my husband ordered tagliatelle zingara and he loved it. I would highly reccomend this restaurant.Its first class
