Price Range:
Try their delicious home cooked food in either their riverside restaurant or their comfortable lounge area. We’d recommend a coffee and treat on their sun-drenched riverside patio or their paved courtyard.
There location beside the sea is reflected in their wide range of seafood offerings and their beef and meat choices are also a must.
Alun Griffiths and his team have a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, sourcing produce locally where possible.
They also offer a wine list, which is both affordable and extensive.

The Bridge Tavern 3.0 star review: We were a group of three, the week before Christmas - we were resticted to a Christmas menu with very little choice, (3 choices for each course).
Set price of €27.50 per person. Food was good, restaurant was quiet, however it was early evening. i would like to go back an sample regular menu.

The Bridge Tavern 4.5 star review: Decided to try this out on the advice of friends so my self and my husband gave it a go. It was very busy and while it had a nice atmosphere you still knew you were in a putb. We enjoyed the meal but it all felt a bit rushed. The food was good as was the service. Will try it again but will just try the bar food.

The Bridge Tavern 4.0 star review: I ate here with friends mid week. It was quite busy for food, but we were soon moved to a warmer table indoors. The pork belly starter was divine, filling - but gorgeous. The lamb shank was meltingly good, however the vegetables it came with had certainly been under the lamps too long and were quite dried out. The dauphinoise potatoes were deliciously creamy. The house wine was lovely, however there wasn't a waitress to be seen once we'd been served the main course so we didn't order a second bottle in the end. The could do with an extra waitress mid week, certainly for the summer season anyway. I'll definitely be back, but I think they could do with some light bites options for those not looking for a full dinner.

The Bridge Tavern 4.0 star review: Lovely new place to eat in wicklow town, nice airy restaurant, fab tables at the side overlooking the river, be nice for lunch on a sunny day! was a bit disappointed there wasnt a vegetarian option for main couse and only 1 choice for starter, which i had to have as a main course !! the dauphanoise potatoes were lovely. Friend had lamb shank and was very happy with it. Chocolate brownie for dessert - could have done with heating up was very heavy - overall nice meal, pity about lack of selection but will defo try it again !

The Bridge Tavern 5.0 star review: I dined here last Friday with my wife - owing to the nice weather, we ate outdoors, in the courtyard area. I had the Surf N Turf, which was delicious - a definite winner of a dish. My wife had the Caesar's Salad, which was different, in terms of presentation, but equally as rewarding in terms of flavour and taste.

This is my third time eating at The Bridge since it reopened, and I am very impressed - well worth it!
