Wicklow Heather 5.0 star review: My family went here for a dinner before Christmas as not everyone would be around. The night in question they had a Christmas party of around 100, on top of regular diners. I have to say the service was excellent, despite staff being incredibly busy they were very attentive. Complimentry mulled wine was provided on arrival, as well as a small glass of Irish cream liquer after the meal. All the food was stunning as usual, all the steaks cooked to order. The bill for 7 including wine/drinks came to just over 310Eur, which I think is fantastic value for the quality of food. While we normally go here for birthdays, etc, and have always loved it, I have to say the quality really was worth mentioning on this occasion.

Wicklow Heather 4.5 star review: We were amazed that the place was so busy for a mid-week evening at the end of September and were glad we had booked. As ever we had a great meal. My starter of a Gorgonzola tartlet was delicious as was my partner's venison sausage (the only complaint was that the portion of sausage was too small). We took the Barbary Duck and the Hake for main courses - both good. Creme brulee for dessert was pronounced excellent but I thought my banoffee pie was short on pie and top heavy with cream to compensate. It may just have been a result of having an unexpectedly busy evening. We' re more than happy to return to check.

Wicklow Heather 4.5 star review: I absolutely love this place, have never been disappointed with the food or service. The only issue I had was having to ask for drinks more than once. It's a bit pricey but, that said, the food is unbelievable. Great for treating yourself!

Wicklow Heather 5.0 star review: This is the nicest restaurant in Glendalough/Laragh... I've been here many times over the past 4 years and everytime it's wonderful. The staff are very friendly, the food is fab and the atmosphere is lovely. It's always busy so it's better to book a table ahead. Not sure if they do early bird menu's.
If your in the area definitly try this place.

Wicklow Heather 5.0 star review: My wife and 2 young children were in Glendalough for the day and stopped in here for Sunday lunch. The place is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is just perfect. Such an easy place to feel relaxed the moment you walk through the door. I've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. I had the 12 hour confit of lamb with winter vegetables and rosemary jus; It was easily the nicest Sunday lunch I've had in a long time- everything was perfect. My wife had a rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly medium-well as she asked and the boys had lasagne which was equally delicious. Desserts were equally impressive. The wicklow Heather simply serves excellent food at reasonable prices and if I could give it 10 stars then it still wouldn't be enough! Fantastic!
