No recession in this place clearly. Food very expensive. I was with a group of hikers and were all craving a good hearty bowl of soup. €4.95 seemed reasonable...until I saw the portion...not a bowl, more like a half-mug sized portion. Completely overcharged. I complained to the manager but he just shrugged and claimed that this size is standard for the price. Rubbish! I can't comment on the pricing of the rest of the menu but for a bowl of soup, this is not the place to go!

I have been here a few times. Recently with a party of 6. We had dinner and the folowing morning had breakfast. Everything that we ordered was delicious and prices were great too. We always have a good experience when we visit here. And we'll definitly be back.

Having visited glendalough we came back to roundwood and decided to visit The Coach House again, well what can I say 'well done again'. We were greeted with a friendly bubbly lady who not only sat us but looked after us throughout our meal. I went for for the chicken wings and the burger, the wings were beautiful and I loved the hot sauce, the burger came well presented with a metal bucket of chips and an individual glass jar of heinz ketchup (nice touch). My husband is a soup and steak man and was happy with both and commented how he loved the price of the steak kept under €20 and it came all the trimings. Keep up the good work and see you soon.
