Betelnut Cafe 5.0 star review: I visited on a Sunday afternoon with family and had a gorgeous brunch. We had a variety of things from the menu which is lovely and very extensive, the best of them being the french toast the soup and the really yummy goats cheese salad. The sun was shining so we ate on the terrace. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It was my first visit but I will definitely be back.

Betelnut Cafe 2.0 star review: On arrival the place was very noisey and messy.
Found a clean table and waited awhile to order French onion soup and ham chicken and stuffing sambo on toasted brown and a glass of water,
The sambo arrived and the waitress asked would i like anything else and I replied yes the soup I ordered which was forgotten and then to sambo yes it was nice but Not what i ordered I got ham and cheese,The staff were to busy chattin among themselves to notice this and then eventully had to go up to counter to order coffee,
A little tip for the staff they should be taught how to carry glasses to a table on a tray and NOT three glasses with fingers stuck right into them put me off glass of water!
Way to expensive for very casual dining

Betelnut Cafe 5.0 star review: I find the food here quite excellent, portions are generous and ingredients seem to be of a high standard. The staff are friendly and though dining room could stand to feel a bit cosier (there are little or any soft furnishings) the place is bright, clean and food is definitely worth going back for. There's a nice gallery upstairs in the mermaid too.

Would especially recommend the mushroom soup and the goats cheese salad.

Betelnut Cafe 4.0 star review: I visit this restaurant often for both lunch and breakfast. It has a lovely atmosphere which is suited to both a quick lunch or a lingering meal, although the restaurant generally gets very busy at lunch time and therefore service can obviously be slower then. The food is very tasty, well presented and good value for money, with a wide choice on the menu from light snacks to a filling meal. The sandwiches are filling and come with salad on the side with a delicious dressing. My favourites from the menu include the vegan sandwich, toasted goats cheese salad, and veggie open sandwich, and the curly fries are delicious! The chicken and stuffing sandwich with cranberry sauce is also a big hit with my meat eating friends! They also do lovely breakfasts here and cater the menu to your specifications. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Betelnut Cafe 4.0 star review: Lovely cafe, went in for late lunch today and was served up lovely food, couldn't decide between curly chips or wedges and girl that servved me said i could have a mix of both, which was very nice, without even having to ask. Great big bowl of chips which i couldn't finish and was able to take home. Great service, i'll definitely go back! Lovely sunny area outside too, Bray needs more of this!

Betelnut Cafe 5.0 star review: The food here is fantastic freshly prepared and really good value I have been having lunch here on weekdays and breakfast at weekends since i moved to bray three years ago and have brought most of my friends and family for breakfast on a sunday. The staff are really friendly and they even have a little play area for children. The outside terrace is great when the sun is shining and as its not on a busy street really peaceful also.
Only drawback is it can be really difficult to get a table at lunch time.

Betelnut Cafe 2.0 star review: Visited this afternoon for a coffee after waiting for 10 minutes and been ignored by the 5 stafff on duty I walked out. The food may be good but I wont be back to find out. There are other better coffee shop in Bray who value their customers.

Betelnut Cafe 3.0 star review: great home-made soups and wonderful veggie breakfast, where they will even do poached eggs and have gluten-free rolls, don't get that in many places! lovely garlic mushrooms and veggie sausages too.
