I went here midweek with the Menupages deal and have to say the value and quality was fantastic. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the food was amazing. We had tangy ribs and wontons to start, and the shredded chicken (very much like a street snack) and Beijing beef for main, with beansprouts. An ample glass of wine and the prettiest orange sorbet I have ever seen!
No restrictions on the deal made a nice change to many restaurants. The only negative was that the freezing weather conditions made it very cold inside too and the handful of brave people were scattered throughout the room. We will definitely be back.

Its been a number of years since my wife and myself had a meal in this restaurant so we decided to take our son and his partner and 2 children out for his birthday. We were greeted by an unfriendly waitress who showed us to our table. I waited for about 5 mins to bring a high chair which never came, eventually I got up and asked for one. The meal was served efficiently but sadly was tasteless, which has become a common occurence now with chinese restaurants and take aways. The veg I had with my sizzling steak must have come out of a frozen packet. While the restaurant is a beautiful restaurant and the the male waiter who looked after us was very pleasant we would never go back or recommend it to friends. I do wonder if when chinese people go back to their home country, would they eat the same food that gets served up to irish people here. I doubt it.

Two of us were covered with our Menupages Deal and we had two friends join us. We had a variety of starters and main courses and were really impressed with them all, from the better quality prawn crackers right through to dessert. There was plenty of food and maybe the only issue was that the table was too small for it all and we had to work around the dishes and warmers! Excellent quality. A generous glass of red wine complemented the flavours. We will certainly return - thank you!

used the menu pages deal yesterday and we were delighted with our meal. Full menu choice, plenty of food and very pleasant staff who made us feel more than welcome. Had the vegetarian platter and my other half had the stuffed crab claws\, both were beautifully presented and very tasty\. This was followed by fillet beef red curry , melt in your mouth and green thai chicken curry , equally delicious.Plenty of food, piping hot and served on warm plates , always a good sign! All this washed down with 2 glasses of wine , perfectly chilled. We did not have room for dessert as we were stuffed but there was a good selection . Finished off the meal with 2 coffees. This restaurant is giving great value on the menu pages deal ,, staff and food are great and we will be back for more culinary delights! Well done to all in the Oriental Ashford!

i used a menu pages deal , any 2 starters/mains/sides/ deserts/glass of wine or beer and tea or coffee. I went at 6pm so didnt expect a great atmosphere ,i was suprised as we got to choose from the whole menu , i expected a smaller choice and the glass of wine was full. The food was exellent service was great and the staff very helpfull and friendly. I will be back , hopefully soon.

Vistied here on a wednesday evening, they accommodated us at late notice 9:20pm, and were warm and welcoming. pity there was only 4 other people there so atmosphere was stale. felt you had to whisper! Service was quick! food was good , shared mixed vegetarian platter to start - no sign of the advertised seaweed which is a pity ! main course of Vegetable chow mein was bland enough, had to request soya sauce, but that may have been a bad choice! Duck in plum sauce was perfect. Chocolate fudge cake to follow was light and fab ! Will return but thought it was very expensive compared to other chinese restaurants !

I must say this was one the best offer and I had best day ever . Its was a nice day off , weather was nice and sunny , spend the day in Powerscount Garden and the waterfall . And for dinner just few mins down the road to Ashford Oriental .
The restaurant was amazing.
The service here was great and the oriental guy are very friendly and attentive :P .The menu provides more choice and more value. If eating from the dinner menu at night go for the specials deals. Both are excellent and very filling. I chose best of every thing . I was also so full after finishing it. I give 110 % for atmosphere , food , service and Value.
