Monart Destination Spa and Hotel 5.0 star review: Stayed in the Monart last week and dined in their fabulous restaurant and the food was amazing. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with large white seats that are so comfortable. I had the foie gras to start which was delicious, then the monk fish for mains and the chocolate fondant for desert all of which were faultless. The service here is second to none, the waiting staff are professional, courteous and not a bit intrusive, overall a fabulous experience, cant wait to return.

Monart Destination Spa and Hotel 5.0 star review: Amazing food. excellent atmosphere. Great staff.

We ate in the restaurant in monart during a recent stay. The food was the best we have had in a while! definitely worth it.

They also cater well for coeliacs, offering gluten free bread as starter. The service is as you would expect. And the amuse bouche before starter and the pallet cleaner before mains were a welcome touch!

Monart Destination Spa and Hotel 4.0 star review: Pricey but very good quality. Gorgeous venue and beautiful surrounds. Excellent staff, attentive and willing. The food was top notch. Really inventive menu forced me to order new things. I had a delicous main course of sea bass which was served with a beautiful rice and lemon fusion. For desert I had a sort of deconstructed banoffe which was very nice. My partner had an excellent dessert also, a coconut and chocolate mix. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. Mains around 30 mark. Full total for two came to 160 with wine and a tip.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
