Two of us visited here recently for lunch, having previously visited a while ago.
On both occasions the food was excellent, with a friendly service. The value is also very good, and the portion sizes are generous as well.
We visited for lunch both times, and our dishes ranged from soup, paninis, pasta and fish. Salads also featured.
Overall, a great spot offering tasty food in a pleasant environment with friendly service.

We were in Gorey last Sunday so we decided to try Katy Dalys. The restaurant is quite nice and the staffs are friendly. We just had two main courses. My husband had one of the board specials, roast of the day, not the best he ever had - it was a little chewy. I had the goats cheese, roast vegetable and pesto flat bread, it was delicious, the salad that accompanied it was also good and a good sized portion and chips ( why do so many restaurants serve these vacuum packed chips, they don’t taste of anything and the texture is all wrong). If we are in Gorey again I’d chance another visit, mainly because it is good value for money.

Had a lovely late lunch there last week.It was 3 pm when I called in to Katy Dalys for lunch and I was met by a friendly and helpful waitresss. She showed me to a nice booth and I browsed the very varied menu. I went for the chicken strips, they were in a light crispy batter and came with a lovely fresh side salad , 3 dips and chips. The food was well presented and nice and fresh, a very generous portion too.I really enjoyed my meal and it was very good value for money. Well done !

My wife and I visited Katy Daly’s a week ago without a booking. They politely explained that there was a slot but we had to leave by a certain time as the table was booked. I personally appreciate this straight forward approach as you know where you stand. We were not rush and enjoyed a fantastic meal. I recommend the Surf and turf, 10oz sirloin steak, with tiger prawns sautéed in butter and herbs. Also, veg only €22.95.

Visited this place on a whim as we were on Gorey main street and we were blown away.
The restaurant itself is very nice and the service was second to none.
The food was delicious to boot.
We ordered the chicken wings and the chicken strippers.
The strippers were nice and crispy and came with three delicious dips. The wings were just right and also came swimming in a delicious sauce. I would have licked the plates if there had not been other people around.
Will definitely return some day.

Went to Gorey to spend a quiet weekend, came across the restaurant by just the bustling atmosphere inside. No reservation, but seated quickly by the fireplace, though the place is full of life. I ordered grilled scallops as starter. Gosh, a full plate of juicy scallops, perfectly done. My main is panfried whole seabass. I can't complain, good value, maybe the chef just being nice to me. All in all, my final bill is just 40euros with a glass of white and coffee to finish. This is what I call excellent standard gourmet food, and I hope Dublin has more places like this

Lovely atmosphere when you walk in. A welcome change in the decor, lovely and bright. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly. We ate there for lunch and there was a great choice on the menu; lovely selection of wraps, salads, flatbreads not to mention the specials.I had a very tasty lamb wrap however the chips came out a bit cold and appeared as thought they'd been cooked a while but the main part of the meal was ok. Definitely worth a try.
