Stayed here for long weekend and ate here on Saturday night. Decided to eat again here on Sunday because we couldn't find fault the first night and wanted to have a few drinks. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Water and bread brought to the table at the start. Got the early bird at 23.50 for 3 courses. The food was excellent and well presented. 2 small negatives - I rang hotel 3 hours beforehand and booked dinner but no record of it on arrival. They apologised and set up a table for us at once. Second was that we did not get near as much vegetables the second night - could be because we were on the early bird. Overall an enjoyable experience and can see why it attracts more than hotel patrons.

we were dissapointed that after booking a table two nights in advance that on arrival they put us in a dark corner, we asked if we could move but was told there was no other table available, just as starters were served there was now plenty of free window seats, we would have waited. the food was good and the service in general was good, but the wine way over priced,

We tried to book a table at this restaurant on Saturday but to no avail, they did take our number in-case a table became available and by surprise they actually rang back. They had on offer a three course menu with a nice bottle of wine for €50 per couple seem to good to be true but it was. the food itself was well presented and perfectly cooked and the service was very good to. I would recommend anyone to try this restaurant you wont be disappointed, well done to you all in these hard times. It was a breath of fresh air to visit such a lovely restaurant full of locals in a hotel rarely seen these days We'll be back
