We always have a meal here when we go to wexford and when we arrived noticed that the restaurant had been refurbished. The menu was a choice of a short a'la carte and a set menu for €23.95. Was a bit concerned as thought maybe there had been more changes in the kitchen but it didn't dissapoint. We had the set menu with a combination platter for starters and dry chicken and duck for main and pavlova (yes, in a chinese) and icecream for dessert. The food was amazing as always. We also had 1/2 bottle of wine and a beer all for €61. Very good value. The only complaint I would have is the service is not very organised. They were busy but we had to ask for menus...

Nice chinese. We had pretty standard chinese food. The best, so far, Chinese restaurant in Wexford (although not hard!). Would go back. However, on a more general point, surely the rice comes with the meal. Why in all Wexford takeaways is this an extra price? In Dublin, rice was included with the meal.

3 of us went to Emerald Gardens for dinner on this Friday night, it was fairly busy and there was a nice buzz about the place, I was very excited as I hadn't been for a while and had really enjoyed the last time we were there. Unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to the expectations - it was ok but nothing compared to the previous times we had been there so I hope standards aren't slipping. They are reasonably priced and our only big complaint would be that it was hard to get the waiters attention for drinks. I would give it another go though
