Grogans is located in a village which makes it inaccessible, there maybe a carpark but there were no obvious signs. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly due mainly to the staff. The restaurant is split into two areas, the lower level by the entrance is very cramped, and is uncomfortable, making intimate dinner for two unromantic. The upper level is more spacious and suitable for bigger groups. We ordered the garlic mushrooms and oysters, they were fine and fresh. The mains were steaks cooked perfectly to our liking. Our waiter was very attentive and fast. In summary the food was good and the whole experience was pleasant and a definite recommendation to friends.

My bf and I attended a wedding in Glasson and of course, I was too busy dolling myself up to eat anything before the service. So, we nipped in afterwards for a quick bite. We shared a cajun chicken salad, deep fried brie and smoked salmon on brown bread. The food is really nice and tasty. The waitresses were very attentive and relaxed. Will definitely call in again when I'm passing through.

Excellent food. The menu is quite scattered you may choose from one menu then come across another page with specials. There are lots of enticing dishes. The homemade burger on the potato cake with peppar sauce was the most comforting dish that I had tasted while eating out in a long time. Very attentive and friendly service, the waitress on duty made sure that everything was ok. This is something which a lot of restaurants don't bother to do anymore. The people of Glasson village and surrounds are so lucky to have so many good places to eat.
