We attended a function which involved a large group and the restaurant coped extremely well serving a large group together. The excellent standard of food was not compromised in any way and the staff could not have been more accommodating - well done will definitely be back .

Love this restaurant, food is gorgeous and the staff are always so nice. Décor is nice too as it has lots of lovely Indian furniture and Art, not like so many restaurants that you only know it's Indian, Italian etc by the food. This just adds to the experience. One of if not the best Indian Restaurant I've ever eaten in and I've been to quite a few in Ireland, Britain and Europe. Highly recommended.
Only downside that it is up a steep staircase so no access if disabled or infirm...

Visited here about 7pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was quite quiet but as our meal went on it started to fill up. Food was amazing, i recommend the Malwani Prawn Curry, absolutely beautiful and plenty of prawns. We ordered a garlic naan also which was one of the best I've tasted. Great value for 2 starters, 2 mains, rice and the naan, about €48. Will definately take a trip back if i am back in Mullingar, service was excellent, one of the nicest Indians I've been to.

This place is clean, the atmosphere was fantastic, warm and cozy. The staff was friendly and very helpful in describing some of the menu items we weren't familiar with. The menu is huge, I've never seen as many choices from an Indian restaurant. Our meals were amazing. They have a early bird special till 730pm, They also have a special, if you buy an appetizer, main meal, and dessert you can bring your own bottle of wine.
They also had a great wine selection along with beer. I would recommend this place to any of my friends without reservation.
The prices are fine by me, we had 2 sizable appetizers, 2 mains, two herbal teas, for about 40 euro with vat. Try this place, you'll enjoy it.

We eat here on a regular basis. Food is very good and service is brilliant. We were delighted to see that the had an early bird menu but when we went into restaurant to read it, it was not a great menu. Early bird menu should be displayed outside.

I go here a lot, most recently just before Christmas. Myself and my girlfriend really like this place. The service is really excellent and the menu is nice and varied so you don't always end up picking the same thing, even though I usually do.
I find the place to be very good value, we'd normally have starters main course and dessert and a bottle of wine and come out with change out of €60.
Only comment is that it can be a little bit quiet during the week but at weekends there's a nice buzz to it. Definitely think it's the best indian in town.

3.5 The Silver Oak Indian Restaurant 3.5 star review:
Three of us ate here recently for my brother's birthday at a cost €33 a head for starter, main course and dessert (no wine). I had the Vegetarian Patties, Chicken Rainbow and Honey Ice Cream for dessert. The food was quite tasty though the main courses were fairly standard (it reminded us of another nearby Indian Restaurant). The service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant but nothing spectacular. The same could be said of the restaurant as whole, it's won't blow you away but eating there is an enjoyable experience.
