Went here on St Patricks Day on the second last day of a visit to Athlone and will definitely come back when next in Athlone. The food is incredible, if you have never tried Middle Eastern food before this is a great restaurant to try it in. I had the vegetarian platter which consisted of the best humous and aubergine dip i have ever had together with delicious falafel, cheeses and spinach in filo pastry and an amazingly flavoursome salad. My companion had the fatayer selction, which is various cheeses and vegatables in filo pastry with salad and chilli dip.We also shared chilli bread and finished with an amazing melt in your mouth dessert of cream in hot filo pastry with 3 divine ice-creams and strawberrys. The service was fine if maybe a little slow. My only reservation is the price, which accounts for why there were only 3 couples in the restaurant all night.€17 for a vegetarian main course is quite expensive. However, the quality of the ingredients and attention to detail in taste and presentation is obvious.A fantastic find.

Iv eaten here a few times and i can recommend it highly. Food has always been really nice and the service is good. Its quite reasonable aswell i suppose thats what has us going back. If you do go be sure to try the lebanese expresso (sweet) at the end it comes in a cool little pot and its so lovely to sip. Cant wait to go back now!
