An Tintain Restaurant, Multyfarnham

There is an opportunity here that one should not miss. Irish cuisine and hospitality at its finest. Blending an old world charm with intimate surroundings, an open fireplace, in both the Bar & dinning area, set the scene in this friendly family run restaurant. The owner Paul Murphy is our Head Chef and takes great pride in his food, while his wife Niamh, will greet you and ensure your dining experience will be one to remember. An Tintain was reviewed by Paolo Tullio in July!

Myself and my friends visited this restaurant for our annual Mothers day outing. Someone had recommended it to us and we were not disapointed. The restaurant is a beautiful comfortable place where we were able to enjoy both conversation and food. The menu itself is extensive and we ordered a variety of dishes. Not one person in our party of 6 were disappointed with our choice of food. I myself had the steak which just cut like a dream and tasted so good. My friends ordered chicken and fish and judgeing from the amount of ooohs and ahs that were coming from them the food was thoroughly enjoyed. The sevice was both friendly and efficent and the value was extremely good. We ended the meal with a choice from the wonderful dessert menu and left the restaurant knowing that we will return. Our overall impression of An Tintain is that this is an excellent restaurant well worth a visit.

A friend of mine who likes to think of himself as a restaurant critic was raving about this restaurant, so I tried it last Friday with two other lads, it is at the end of the town in multyfarnham just before the bridge. I had a steak and Jesus it was really nice, the others had fish and thought it was cooked really nicely, definitely will be back, was looking at other plates going to other tables and would like to try a few more dishes. Priced very reasonable for good quality food, Great cosy place to bring girlfriend for intimate meal or work collages for business. Definitely a good find paddy cheers!!!!!
