Dropped in here for a Sunday lunch and was a little dissappointed with the menu, It was roast chicken, roast beef, turkey & ham or a veggie option. Quite unadventurous. However location suited my needs so I went with it! A lovely waitress took my order and the food came quite quickly, unsurprising as there were only three or four other patrons! Food was fine but nothing too exciting. Portion was big and vegetables were fresh. I think they need to update their menu in order to get some of the crowd back...

Would not reccommend this pub/restaurant. We ate there one evening, my dish was dried up as if it was sitting there all day and heated up, when I said it to the waitress she said it was probably heated up twice! When we complained to the lady behind the Bar (who happened to be the Manager) she said "thats the way we cook our food"!!! we were then told that she didnt like our attitude......when we refused to pay the full amount. Needless to say we havent been back nor will we! All round bad experience. Also waitress was run off her feet and very unhelpful.

One of the best fillets of steak I have ever had. This is truly one of the best food pubs in Ireland and, thankfully, has not been overrun with visitors (yet). Great food, excellent service, and the pub itself is really well appointed. Prices are average (about 20 euro for the most excellent steak). Great chips with it too. Had the salmon there a few weeks previous and was also excellent.
