Had a really fabulous meal here last weekend. Beautiful views faultless food from the bread to the dessert and very helpful and kind staff. Asked for very rare steak and I got very rare steak- it is a must for fresh honest very good value reveal food.

Visiting dunmore for a wedding over bank holiday, 12 of us dined at the strand on friday night. all i can say is all of us were very impressed. everybody had a different main from baked lobster, a spicy crab,panfried turbot, hake dyoinaise, mussels in blackbean sauce etc. Everything was amazing and it was nice to see a restaurant buzzing. service was very good, the waitress who looked after us was superb. We ended up in the bar in the hotel were there was a guy playing the piano who had the place dancing on the tables.

Have had drinks inside and outside the Strand on our hols for the last two years. There is a great buzz inside the pub and outside it has the most perfect view of the beach. Have not ventured into the restaurant yet as it always looked so expensive and we are a family of vegetarians so Seafood restaurants do not usually lure us in. However, I note they have a vegetarian option so we will probably eat there this year. A fabulous place to sit outside on one of those rare sunny days
