We arrived for 9 and from the minute we walked in we felt we were being pushed out the door. Service was very good, the waitresses were excellent. Food was great and good value but seriously we were all but pushed out the door. Not s good sign for your new premises. We pay. You stay.

This is a nice little Italian cafe with nice ambience and good service. The food lets them down though. Dreadful pizza and the same substandard Italian-esque fare dumbed down for the perceived Irish palate that is found in most Irish towns. Good value though if you're not picky and you can BYOB.

lovely restaurant in town centre, one of my favourites. Food is always of good standard and reasonably priced. (hope they pass on vat reduction now) Staff could be a bit more movitated, always feel like they don't want to be there, never smile or talk to customers only to take there order.

Love the calzones! Cheap and tasty food, a must go to place whenever I'm in Clonmel! Friendly service, lovely atmosphere and the take out is great too!

Going to Galileo Cafe on a regular basis over the past few years. One of my favourite restaurants, food is always top notch and very reasonable. Have tried most dishes in here and there all beautiful. One of the places I always pick for a meal out both lunch time and dinner time. Located in the main street of Clonmel, very central. Well Well Worth a visit.

Booked a table of ten for two friends Bday, on arrival we were lead downstairs and had the place to ourselves (though upstairs was busy). Phoned the previous day to check if it was ok to bring a cake, they said it was no problem. Staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly, they dimmed lights for us to do the cake. There is no wine licence but they allow you to bring your own wine and dont charge corkage. The food was absolutely gorgeous, very reasonable and the menu has a great selection of dishes. They didnt attempt to rush us or put any pressure on us to leave even though we were last there. All together a great night, would highly recommend!

I went here last week with my friend. I really liked the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decor looks like Italian restaurant so much, it reminds me of my holidays in Italy. The staff are very efficient & friendly. The price are also affordable, with quite generous serving. I definitely will come to this restaurant again, no doubt.

I must say that I had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the cosy and warm atmosphere. We were about 10 friends and everybody seemed happy. We had meals before in Cahir, the twin restaurant and I must say that they are both fantastic places to eat, They are very reasonable and the food is very tasty. I must say that the staff in Cahir are more friendlier. We will definetly go back to either, BYO is a beautiful idea. Fair play to the management of Galileo.

I have eaten here many times. Pizza and calzones are very good. The other menu items are not that great. BYO wine bottle and they will uncork it for you. They don't have nice wine crystal however, which cheapens the ambiance. Very small space for tables and tight quarters. Better to order ahead and take out and find a more appealing location to feast on a good pizze pie.

I've been here twice recently although only eaten once as the second time we left after waiting over 30 minutes for our orders to be taken, despite asking repeatedly! The time I did manage to get food it was grand, though what can you really do to a pizza (pastas didn't look appealing). The BYO is good, though I'd recommend tucking well in before you get your meal to soften the blow a bit! Seems to be very popular with big groups of girls, probably due to the inoffensive menu, cheap prices, and BYO.

I have eaten here quite a few times. The food is quite good, tasty, good size portions & very reasonably priced. Would reccomend the pizzas or the Penne Arrabiata. It is always very cold in this restaurant & have had to leave my jacket on while eating most times. The chefs are friendly but the waitresses are awful!! Surly & unhelpful!! The toilets are not very clean either.

Like this reataurant and the twin one in Cahir. great for meeting up with friends for a cheap and cheerful meal because it is BYO. menu lovely and the soup with the fab toasted bread is a must have. Was in Cahir Thurs night and it was fab as per. two starters, two mains and a take away pizza for €42 how could you complain?

Have eaten here on many occasions. The food is always nice but not spectacular. If you are seated near the door it can be very drafty. Its a grand place to meet friends for something to eat after work but not really a 'night out' type restaurant.

I've been here twice and both times I was put sitting near the door. It was FREEZING but for some reason they refused to give us another seat on the second occasion even though there were empty seats around. The carbonara was stodgy and the garlic bread was not good. We didn't know about bringing your own wine as on first occasion we hadn't been drinking (they don't have a licence) so we had to go without while others were tucking in around us! Service was not good.
