Have eaten here a few times over the years and I've never been disappointed. The owner and staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is great and most of all the food is made to a very high standard. Both myself and my husband had the beer battered cod with chips and mushy peas. The batter was really light. They've a good selection of wines too. Looking forward to next time :)

I was so glad that a made the spin over to Garrykennedy on St. Patricks Day as i had not experienced such Irish tradition in a long time as i did from the delicious Irish stew to the wonderful music.

Visited this restaurant St Patrick’s Day for lunch with a friend. Was quite busy with an ok atmosphere. The bar was very cold but we were sat next to a vent which was on and contributed even further to the cold air temperature. Menu choice was good and reasonable. Food was nice and tasty with sizeable portions. Staff could have been more attentive as we had to ask for everything once the food was served they didn’t come near us anymore until we were finished. Could do with refreshing customer care skills.

Hi, Many thanks for your nice comments on the menu & the food…….yes, it was very busy (much more than we expected) and we could have done with another pair of hands!! The staff worked very hard….. However, we are sorry your experience wasn’t better. The heating and fires were going all day…The vent is usually turned off but children find it very interesting and are always turning the switches…. we will keep an eye on it for the future! Kind regards & many thanks, Maura Boyle Larkins Bar & Restaurant
