I enjoy this restaurant whenever I visit and never had a disappointing meal there. I love the flavour of their smoked chicken salad and my husband can't pass their fillet steak. Everything is so beautifully presented and great use of herb and garnish. We had a lovely homemade soup with smashing brown bread. The desserts were equally tasty and as always roulades and meringues are homemade. They do an exceptionally gorgeous trifle but they didn't have it on. In the past I enjoyed a parfait like no other in this restaurant. If they are reading this perhaps they might think of putting it back on the menu again! What I really like about this restaurant is that you can wander in off the street as we did and eat upstairs/downstairs depending on availability and really I don't mind where I eat once the food is of high quality and indeed it is just that here. Another plus is the pleasant staff who go extra miles to give you what you want - be it a bit of this or that- whatever request you have they will try to accede to it. I often drop in on a Sunday morning for a portion of dessert or soup to take away and again there is no problem. I like this restaurant. The customer is always number 1

midweek this place was not manic. Service was good and the food very good. Really nice fajitas which were on the specials list. NIce guiness. Friendly staff. And a super tastly dessert. The dining room is lovely too. Wooded floor and furniture and a classy evironment. Would recommend
