I recently visited Ireland from the US and was welcomed by the Owner of Roots restaurant who treated my group like royalty and told us much local history of the area. I ordered the sea bass made by Fionnuala who happens to be the owners sister, which was mouthwatering the salads were so fresh and the bread baked daily on the premises was superb. We all ordered sweets which the owner's cordon blue trained Mother makes fresh daily. During coffee on request only...we were treated to Micky the owner playing the spoons to a beautiful Celtic ballad. A gem in the heart of this little town we had a wonderful experience
