2.5 The Waterfront 2.5 star review:
went here on a very quite wet windy wednesday night. service was efficient. food was varying some very nice some just ok. one of fish courses had no less than 9 bones in it and thats before it was 3/4's way gone through. for apparent seafood restaurant that was very poor. desserts were homemade and very nice. probably better place to visit during busy season. prices were little high for what was served

4.0 The Waterfront 4.0 star review:
Having just completed a windswept walk on Rosses Point Beach we adjourned to the Waterfront Restaurant for some refreshments as it was the only restaurant we could find that was open.
As there is a lovely bakery attached to the restaurant we decided to just have tea and scones.
However one must be patient in this restaurant as the staff are very slow to take an order in our case it took a half an hour despite a member of staff standing opposite our table talking to some locals. The restaurant was by no means busy at the time of our visit i.e.Noon.
When our tea and scones eventually arrived they were lovely.
