Located on the 1st floor of the Clarence Hotel in Wine St, Sligo. Central location. Relaxing classical music, nice chillout ambience. Restaurant is a Sardinian Restaurant & Staff are very friendly. Very quiet business wise for a bank holiday weekend. Myself & my partner can certainly voucher for the pizza's which were authentic Italian. Generous sized glass of wine are €3.95. The restaurant do a special 2 couse menu for €15 approx. Interestingly the restaurant do a 12" take away pizza just like the one I had for €5.95 - thats a very nice price.

Utterly disappointed with this restaurant. I have ordered from here four times, or at least tried to. I ordered successfully once, then each time after that I have been either, allowed to place my order, THEN told the deliveries were stopped, or told "Were only serving pizza but please order anyways". The first time I ordered I asked for a Carbonara to be made without the gorgonzola as I am not comfortable with the idea of blue cheese, and as I have lived in Italy for a number of years I expected something amazing to come from a supposedly"Authentic Italian" restaurant. I got pasta with burnt pancetta, smothered in thick goopy cream and not a morsel of parmesan in sight. Carbonara should be made on eggs, not cream and any authentic Italian restaurant would know that. I should not be penalised for not entertaining the idea of mould with substandard Italian pan scrapings. Perhaps anyone who ate here and thought the food was "amazing" is used to home grown boiled spuds and cabbage, but to anyone used to remotely good food this is not where you need to go. Bring back Ceasares. The fact that this place is thriving where an ACTUAL amazing restaurant failed is irritating to say the very very least.
