Apple Tray Bake
Ingredients
- 8ozs self-raising flour
- 4ozs marg
- 5ozs castor sugar
- 2-3 peeled cooking apples
- 1/4 pint milk
- 2 beaten eggs
Method
- Sieve the flour and add the marg.
- Mix by hand together until it looks like breadcrumbs.
- Add the castor sugar.
- Beat the eggs and milk together and add to the dry mixture.
- Roughly chop the cooking apples and add.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking tray.
- Place in the centre of the oven at 180 degrees centigrade and bake for 25 minutes, until the top is good brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes and then cut into slices.
