Strawberry Mousse




Ingredients

  • One tin of strawberries with juice
  • One packet of jelly
  • 2 egg whites
  • 100g of caster sugar
  • Extra strawberries for decoration

Method

  1. In a small pot, heat jelly with juice from tinned can.
  2. Heat until jelly fully dissolved.
  3. In separate bowl, beat egg whites and caster sugar until peaks form.
  4. Fold in jelly mixture a little at a time.
  5. Add in strawberries from tin, gently.
  6. Fold altogether and set in cool fridge for 3 hours.
  7. Once ready, mousse will be set.
  8. Add sliced strawberries for decoration.
  9. Makes 6-8 portions.
