Ingredients

  • bacon lardons,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 cloves of crushed garlic,
  • glass of red wine,
  •  tube of tomato puree,
  • a teaspoon of salt,
  • a teaspoon of basil,
  • and a tin of chopped tomato,
  • lasagne sheets, and
  • four cheese sauce (available in lidl),
  •  grated cheese.

Method

  1. Once the meat is browned add a glass of red wine. Simmer until this has reduced off.
  2. Once the wine has reduced add in a full tube of tomato puree, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of basil, and a tin of chopped tomato.
  3. Simmer till cooked through.
  4. layer this with lasagne sheets, and four cheese sauce (available in lidl), top with grated cheese and bake.
