Baked Potato

A delicious and simple meal or accompaniment from Fillippo Berio.

Ingredients

  • For the base:
  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • Filippo Berio Gusto Fruttato Extra Virgin
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200oC (fan 180oC/400oF) or Gas Mark 6. Prick the potato skins all over with a fork. Rub plenty of oil over the skins then rub in a little sea salt. Bake on a baking tray for 1 hour to 1hr 10mins or until the flesh is tender.
  2. Cut a cross in the top of each potato and use a fork to fluff up the potato. Add a good drizzle of oil and fluff up again. Serve immediately with plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
