I love this place, the pasta is to die for. I usually get a chicken timballo which is a pasta bake with creamy mushroom and bacon sauce. Pizzas are good too esp their irish take the Kelly Pizza. Recently started to do an early bird which is welcome. Prices are ok.

We decided to go to Galileo that night for pizza for a takeaway as we remember a few years ago it was beautiful a place and food was very nice. As I entered the restaurant I was shocked to see that Galileo were now partner with a chipper:( Still I ordered two pizza for a restaurant price. Got home absolutely disgusted on how the quality dropped, soggy pizza; could not even hold them, and the food was as the standard of a cheap pizza. For the price we paid I could have had an excellent sit down meal elsewhere. It was my favourite restaurant in the area, I am disapointed that they still open under the name of Galileo restaurant.

Decided to take the family to Galileos for some pizza while in Edenderry for a funeral. There was more atmosphere at the funeral! We all ordered pizza and a couple of bruschetta starters that took an age to be served. The food couldn't have been more bland. The pizza bases were over cooked and tough while the parma ham didn't smell as fresh as it should have. With drinks thrown in the overall cost was €76 which was a total rip off. The restaurant itself looks great but unless you're too drunk to care I wouldn't recommend this place.
