nicest indian restaurant I have eaten in for a long time ,on a break from Dublin for weekend, if I return to Monaghon I will def visit , my young daughter was really impressed with bathrooms

This is by far the nicest Indian Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. From the minute you walk in the door the waiting staff make you feel special. They take the time to explain the menu to those who are not used to Indian food and gave sound advice to suit your taste and requirements. The kitchen chef will even go as far as to make extra dishes to give you samples of different dishes if you are unsure what to order. The food is absolutely fantastic. I have eaten in Indian Restaurants all around Ireland the USA and in other European countries and this restaurant trumps them all. Can't wait to go back for my birthday at the end of the month.

We were told by a friend to try this restaurant and found it to be excellent - probably the best Indian we have had. The food was well presented, the staff were helpful and we were offered a free drink at the end.

Had a superb meal here recently – would go so far as to say it's probably the best Indian meal we’ve had in Ireland. Eastern Balti was recommended to us by a receptionist at a local hotel where we were staying. The menu is quite extensive, and staff were very helpful in explaining what the meals consisted of. We were even told to ask for more rice if we wanted it. Couldn’t fault anything about the night, it was just great – and we were offered a free drink on the house before leaving. They also kindly organised a taxi to take us back to our hotel.

Beautiful décor in this restaurant – not your typical Indian décor - but very contemporary. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Got a great seat the window! It’s a very busy restaurant, and it’s easy to see why – the quality of the food is excellent and presentation was top-class. They have the most unusual and quirky crockery and glassware, and it all adds to the overall dining experience. They also provide a take-away service, but that aspect of the restaurant is carried out discreetly and not in view of the sit-in diners. The toilets here are absolutely spotlessly clean, smelling of fresh flowers and beautifully kept. Terry towelling hand squares and hand cream are provided. Have never seen anything like this in a restaurant before. Monaghan people are very lucky to have such a great restaurant in their midst! Will be back here at the next opportunity we get, and the sooner the better.

Fantastic food! Lovely staff. Lovely clean and bright restaurant. A little more expensive than your regular Indian but they have lots of staff and quick service. Well worth the extra few quid for quality food.

I ate here on Friday night while passing through Monaghan, and I'll definitely be back! Relaxed atmosphere, nice decor and beautiful food. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala which was beautifully tender and the sauce was delicious. The coriander naan was really good. Looking forward to my next visit.

We heard good reports about the balti house so we went to try for ourselves. unfortunetly we were very disappointed. The place looks lovely nicely decorated, but the food- appalling. My dinner had so much sauce it was hard to find the chicken. It was so rich and heavy I was still feeling bloated the next day!! The waiters at first were attentive but then it got so annoying they constantly checking on us, it was supposed to be a romantic evening but they never left us alone. We left feeling deflated and thinking what a waste of an evening. :-(

Went here recently with my wife on our anniversery- food was delicious and there was a good atmosphere in the place. When we said it was our anniversery they gave us a few drinks on the house. Staff very very friendly. Nicest Indian I've had in Ireland.
