Went here for a birthday dinner, food was ok but not amazing for the price of the dishes. There is a good atmosphere but the bar was pretty quiet after. Have heard that they have improved since but there are better places in the area for better value

We got a good deal of dinner and B&B accommodation for €155 at Dunboyne Castle. It's called the Winter Warmer special. In the restaurant we were handed separate laminate menus. The choice was limited but we both spotted food we liked so were happy. We both had bacon caesar salad, a chicken dish with butternut squash and side of parsnips, carrots and potatoes. Dessert we had was three scoops of dessert in a tuile basket. All of the food was delicious. We had absolutely no complaints. The service was flawless as well. The manageress was nice, as were the servers. The atmosphere in this restaurant is lovely as well. We have dined here four times now and we will definitely be back again

Was here for a wedding and stayed overnight for june bank holday. Food at the banquet was very good. Service not great though not enough staff on and all seemed to be very junior. Fantastic location and grounds, the gardens are nicely kept. Breakfast the next morning was chaotic though sloppy service huge queues no butter for toast no one taking orders etc. Shame as very nice hotel otherwise with good food.
