I ate here 3 weeks ago and used to be a regular but their menu lacks imagination and you get bored of the same dishes week in week out. That said, the early bird of $49.00 for 2 starters, mains, nan , rice and wine is great value and I will probaly be back!

We booked Taj in Dunboyne for a New Year's Eve dinner for 8 adults and their respective children! The Taj manager VJ was really helpful in organizing the kids meals as well as a fantastic spread of Indian food. He even upgraded our wine choice from the fixed menu at no extra charge! We arrived at 6PM and were well looked after until we exited at 9PM... all very satisfied indeed. So, what about the food: Everyone loved the mixed grill sizzling starter! Paul's special nutty sauce was also a crowd pleaser. The Chilli Masala had a nice hint of lemon and the Peshwari Naan is the best anywhere. If you ever get a chance to dine here - do. Highly recommended.

My partner and I had a meal in our favourate Indian Restaurant in Dunboyne recently and as usual the food was excellent. There is a special on at the moment which is very good value €50 for a meal for two including a bottle of wine. If you like Indian food then you have got to try Taj Tandoori you will not be disappointed. Excellent Staff, Excellent Service what more can I say.
