What can I say to sum up this place??
You have to try the Mexican burger!!!!!
We visit regularly & at this stage the staff know what we are going to order.
The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic. Even when it is busting at the seams it's still enjoyable to sit & chomp on your food.
Summer time is perfect to sit outside & enjoy a fresh salad.
After you have eaten you can take a stroll around & pet some goats.
The staff are so nice. It's nice to go to a local "joint" and be acknowledged as a regular.
Hats off to the owners!!

I discovered this well hidden gem by accident about a month ago and this is our fourth time to eat here. The place is nicely decorated and on a nice summers day you can dine al fresco. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We have tried numerous dishes at this stage and it is all lovely, really nice wholesome food. The duck salad is my favourite, its very lean and very tasty, none of the usually jelly like fat you would normally get with a duck dish. They also have a comprehensive kids menu. The price is reasonable but they could offer a little more value for money. This is quickly becoming a regular haunt of ours.

Even though we went for a later lunch the restaurant was still fairly full with only 2 tables available and there was steady business throughout our visit with departing tables being cleaned quickly. We were served quickly.
There is a range of salads and sandwiches on offer with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options available.
My grilled vegetable salad was tasty but very oily, it seemed like the vegetables were fried rather than grilled. It was served with 2 wedges of cheesy garlic bread. When I asked about how the veggies were cooked I was assured they were grilled but that maybe it was the dressing I found oily.
The New Barn salad had a delicious mix of fresh vegetables but again it was swamped in dressing.
Chunky homemade chips were delicious and all portion sizes are generous.
We finished off with some good coffee.
I would return but would request salad dressings on the side.
On site farm shop worth a stop to buy some fruit & veg

A great spot for families and locals, with a combo of a petting zoo (but these are normal farm animals, the eggs you get there are sold in their shop), a shop where you can buy local produce and a nice restaurant serving simple and rustic food.
We are regulars and especially appreciate the family friendly atmosphere of the place. Love the sandwiches, the sausage and bacon sandwich is great, as is fish and chips, Stroganoff, roast beef etc. And my daughter can't get enough of the ice-cream and then it's off to feed the donkeys and pigs and goats. A very happy customer here.

This is a great spot, full of families who receive a warm welcome from the owner, Willie. The food is reliably good and the service is usually fine. The Beef Stroganoff is particularly nice as is the Caesar Seafood salad. The chicken and bacon Caesar salad isn't as good as it contains odd little fatty rolls of chicken and bacon cut up. They would do better to do the chicken separately.
The farm animals entertain the children and fresh vegetables can be picked up in the farm shop. We go quite often.

I love this place. It's a spacious building whilst still remaining cosy. It's full of character, the staff are lovely and the decor is quirky without being pretentious.
The food is fantastic. Nothing super fancy, but they get the basics right. Great flavours and perfect portion sizes. Also the fact that it's as local as possible can only be a huge plus.
The setting is great for families - especially those with young children. Getting to explore the farm for free and see the animals is a huge attraction.
As for the price? Won't break the bank - a lot of meals in the 10 Euro zone. Another positive.

A hidden gem of a restaurant which we discovered when we went to purchase fruit and vegetables at their farm shop.
We decided to try out their lunch menu superb we had the chicken heaven which was divine as was the home cooked chips which accompanied the dish.
would highly recommend their fruit merguine for a desert.
extremely friendly staff, brillant food and service. Have returned since initial visit
Very family friendly and the children will love seeing the donkeys, ducks, and pot belly pigs on the farm
Not to be missed
