We had a great meal in La Scala. The staff were really nice and very professional. The food was excellent. We shared a starter and separate main courses, a bottle of wine and two Irish Coffees to finish. All this was just over 66. The food was really good, some of the best Italian I have had in a long time and the best meal I have had in Trim in some time. I would highly recommend it. I just couldn't understand why there were not more people in it.

The Service is this place is joke!! anything i ordered was ''not available'' red sauce was not available vinegar not available.. ordered 3 small cheese pizza's..65 min later they arrive.. with no apologizes no matters on the staff what so ever. there was 1 group of 6 people in the place...joke certainly not acceptable

My first visit to this restaurant with three friends at the weekend and I was very impressed. We had a really lovely night. The food and the service was excellent. We are already planning to return, can't wait!

We all agreed it was the best meal we had for a very long time. So much what we are going back to night. It not often that you will find food good enough to get us out twice in one month

I visited here on a Saturday night, and even though we arrived half an hour after the cut off point, the waiter still let us avail of the early bird menu, which included a good selection of dishes.

We had four courses for about €18, and everyone at the table was happy with their meals. I had bruschetta to start and lasagne for mains, and both dishes were delicious. The apple pie I had for dessert wasn't great, but that was down to personal preference as I prefer a crusty pastry!

The food was well presented and the waiters and waitresses were friendly enough. The whole experience represented great value for money, and I would definitely return here, if ever I am visiting Trim again.

Having never been to Trim previously we were unsure where to dine but chose La Scala because of its close proximity to our accomodation. There was an offer available 2 courses for 18euro which we availed of. I had the bruschetta which was beautiful and then the sea bass but I felt the 6 euro supplement was hefty. My friend had the chicken wings followed by the burger as there was no steak left. This was a bit disappointing. All in all a pleasant evening was had but I would probably try somewhere else if we were to return to the town.

I was so surprised after reading the reviews below at how nice this place was. Had a delicious meal here on Sunday night. Very good service and soooo tasty, will definitely go back when in Trim again. Mushrooms with gorgonzola were amazing!

family of 4 went for a bite to eat late in the afternoon - not a lot of people here.... found the food not great - service not great either - very cramped - felt like all the tables were squashed in (even though most were empty)... i have to say i wont visit again.... for what we paid i'd rater get a takeaway..

The food was a bit bland and tastlless. Definitely not something to write home about. I also found the waiter to be a bit sleazy. Won't be going again!

This is a nice looking restaurant and the staff are friendly but the food is really horrible. sorry but it really is bad. dont get a burger.
