Castle Arch Hotel 3.0 star review: I ate here on Sunday evening and was disappointed with my meal. The starters were ok but I thought the salmon was awful. It was presented with a bright yellow sauce all over it. I did not enjoy it. The chips were not great - they felt a little undone. The chicken maryland which my friend had was very good though. I won't be in a hurry back. I didn't think there was any atmosphere

Castle Arch Hotel 5.0 star review: I went to the new Conservatory Restaurant in the Castle Arch Hotel. It was superb. The food was excellent, I had a prawn cocktail to start and it was far too big but delicious all the way through. For mains I had the Medalions of Pork with a dijon sauce. It was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. It was €50 for 4 course meal for 2 people plus a bottle of wine. Bargain for such a great meal,

The waitress we had was extremely friendly but knew when to leave us be to eat our food.

When I'm in Trim again I'll definitely be back.
