Scanlon's 5.0 star review: We went here for the early bird on the Saturday evening as it was too warm to cook! The place was nice and air conditioned. Both myself and my husband went for a special. I had the spicy chicken stir fry and it was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and he liked it too. The kids had sausages and chips/mash that came in little buckets! It was lovely. The staff were very nice and great with the kids. There is a table with toys to keep the little ones busy while waiting for our food We all had dessert. The sticky toffee pudding is light and yummy. The early bird was 12.95 for 2 courses and all in all it cost us 40 odd quid for 5 including the kids desserts. I will definitely be back for more. It is great value for money and the portions are substantial.
Its an all round 5 for me... good food, atmosphere, service and value... I think we found a little gem.

Scanlon's 3.0 star review: A good carvery, even though I don't usually like that type of food. The waitresses were very nice and friendly, and the pub itself is well decorated with a good atmosphere. Would visit again for handiness if in the area.
