2 for quick lunch. Something about the seating/table layout that's not quite right, especially for a business lunch. Service was quick enough and the food came piping hot - lamb casserole was the lunch special and chowder for my friend. Both tasty and adequate portions. Limited menu and no home made brown bread. Looked tempting enough to crack open a bottle of the special offer spanish red ... but back to work !! Good parking.

I had lunch here with 3 family members. The restaurant is well set out and the menu looked great. 2 of the 4 had the seafood chowder and 1 had the soup of the day, Broccolli and goats cheese. the chowder was delicious but the other left a lot to be desired. We had a selection of the "tapas" for mains and while they were all very tasty they didn't fill us and we left feeling hungry. An annoying aspect of the meal was that i asked for some bread to go with my main selection of lamb meat balls as it came in a pot with just the meat and sauce. The bread was delivered 10 minutes later when i had eaten the dish. I then discovered when paying the bill that i had been charged 4.95 for 6 slices of bread - this should have been made clear when i asked for it and should at least have been delivered much faster. overall i'd say the food was tasty but i wouldn't go here if i was hungry.

Had a quick bite here one lazy Saturday afternoon. Smoked chicken on ciabatta with goats cheese (my fav) and spicy relish on top. Really nice, but would recommend the cheese to be slighlty melted. Couldn't sample wine list as I was driving but looked great. Particulary liked the little deli out the front. If the summer lasts, this would defo be the place to still outside and have a glass or too. Will be back.
