I brought my 18 month old daughter to Il Vulcano when going to meet a freind there for dinner. I ordered a 'childs portion' of pasta with tomato sauce. When I got the bill I discovered the portion cost €9 and when I queried it I was told this was indeed correct and this is the normal price they charged for a childs portion. Outrageously expensive for a so -called family restaurant.

We walked into Il Vulcano late on a sunday night, a couple of people eating in there, but the staff were more than happy to seat us. The menu is typical Italian with a few specials and deals available. A nice pleasant meal, place slightly formal but with more people in it would be fine. They seemed to be especially busy with take-aways. Coffee and Pannacotta to finish off was delicious.
