Had dinner here with my husband during a short visit to Mayo after a friend's recommendation. Amazing! The restaurant itself has a bit of a living room feel -nothing too fancy- but the food was incredible. We opted for the early bird menu which had great variety and was exceptional value.Everything was so fresh and tasty-the creme brulée was the best I've ever tasted. The staff we more than helpful and offered us complimentary liquers and petit fours. I will certainly return the next time I'm in Mayo.

A new place, and a great recommendation by a taxi driver! Really interesting menu too and the starters alone had us rushing for the door. I had pigs cheek salad which was a revelation - really tender and tasty. For the main course I had lamb (which they offer to cook whichever way I wanted, which was unusual) which was again delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was really friendly too, which you don't often get when you're a bunch of lads and being fairly noisy but we were tucked away in one of the alcoves so we didn't disturb people. I'd class it as more of a couples or for special occasions. We had a great meal. It was pretty decent value with 3 courses, coffees and a lot of wine for 50 euro a head.

Really great restaurant in Westport, I booked it based onthet reviews on TRipadvisor and wasn't disappointed. We shared the pig cheek and black pudding starter - fab - beautifuld homemade breads were presented and were great. The two mains of sea trount and a rump of lamb were equally good - though six different vegetables was a bit unusual. Afterwards we were too full for dessert - just as well as we were given some homemade Limencello and petits four which were really delicious. Great and friendly service also. My only comment on thevalue was it was unsual that the early bird wasn't on for the night on a mid week night as most restaurants are not restricting the early bird menu to a set hour - but we will definitely be back
