The dining space in this restaurant is way too small for the amount of tables. One would be afraid to move incase you hit somebody at a table close by. The chefs try to create an atmosphere by shouting to one another while cooking in the dining area. The food was terrible and the wine was worse. My teak was impossible to cut let alone eat. I brought it to the attention of the waiter who had it changed and brought back another when the rest of my party were finished. The second steak was as bad as the first.

I love Al Murettos. Was here last month for a family do. I had the steak and it was devine. Cooked perfectly. My partner had the patte for a starter and is still talking about it. The house white wine is the best i ve had in any restaurant. Defo be back the next time im down west!!!!!

Had dinner here on Saturday night. It was fantastic, by far the best restaurant in Castlebar. The staff are frienly but not overly fussy. Had the bruschetta to start, a tomato pasta (the best I've had in ages) and home made proper italian ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend.
