Riva Brasserie (Dundalk) 4.5 star review: I find this place really reliable for a nice quick bite to eat. The restaurant has been renovated since I was last there and the decor is very nice. I had my firm favourite, riva pasta which consists of tagliatelle, sundried tomatoes, spinach and goats cheese. Its is very tasty. My friend had the cream of vegetable soup which was served with delicious brown bread and also a chicen tikka wrap. I think the sandwiches being served on little wooden boards is a really nice touch. Will return

Riva Brasserie (Dundalk) 4.0 star review: Been here twice now...both times myself and my partner had goats cheese and then chicken wings...Portions of wings could be doubled i think but always tasty and spicy. The goats cheese is mouth watering...the ingredients just work so well...definetely worth a trip!

Riva Brasserie (Dundalk) 5.0 star review: This really is the best place to eat in the area, be it for lunch or dinner.
The menu is varied, but not overwhelming and all the food is beautifully cooked and presented.
Great atmosphere for small groups or for couples.
only negative points for me are that:
1. service is sometimes a little slow
2. due to the loation in a pedestrian street, parking nearby in limited.
But overall, a fantastic place to eat.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
