Azur 5.0 star review: Fantastic Resturant and a must for all food lovers that are in or visiting limerick. It has a menu to suit all budgets.
This busy resturant is just gorgeous. The food is so soo soooooooooo delicious we went last night on a rainy thursday and the place was buzzing with activity. The staff are warm and informative. They had 3 menus al a carte , value menu (which had a great selection also) and the love gourmet menu which is running this week. We chose this one €35.00 amuse bouche starter apple and pear sorbet main course and desert tea or coffee and it was fab i had the prawn riosotto to start hot creamy and full of flavour and trio of fish prawns scallop and cod on a bed of scallion mash with purple cabbage sweet potato and steamed mange tout for the main and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world, my partner had the crab and smoked salmon which was fresh and so tasty and the rack of lamb which was succulent and full of flavour and the lemon tart with rasberry sorbet so fresh and refreshing for desert and he thought this is the best meal he has ever had and i have to agree they got it so right in the this resturant i could have stayed there all night. It is extremely busy at the weekends so you would be advised to book in advance or go mid week like us and enjoy a fantastic night out with good food and good company. But do pay this resturant a visit.

Azur 5.0 star review: This is a top notch restuarant. We went here St. Patricks Day as a colleague recommended it. Usually it doesnt open at lunch time but because it was St. Patricks Day, they were open for lunch with a special value menu which was faultless. I had mussels for starter then a steak sandwich and ice cream. It was so tasty and the waiter was so helpful, friendly and nice. My mam had goats cheese starter, sausages and mash as main and ice cream as dessert. 10/10 my mother said this restaurant was and she cant wait till she is down in Limerick again to go here. I would also highly recommend it

Azur 2.5 star review: I was a huge fan of this restaurant before it relocated and ate there everytime I visited Limerick, about once a month. I thought they had gone out of business but was thrilled to find it's new location and couldn't wait to go there this evening.
Unfortunately I left there very disappointed realising that I was being charged more for less food than before, so it looks to me like the customer is paying more for the new premises. No bread was given, and I really missed the seafood platter which, to me, was the best plate of food you could get in Limerick. Please bring it back on the menu! The menu is now pre-printed and laminated which means it will never change - so what, you may say but it does not entice me back. Nothing wrong with the decor etc. but it has lost it's "unique" identity, value for money and flexibiity regarding menu choices. I'll wait a while before I give it another shot.

Azur 5.0 star review: This is one of my favourite restaurants in Limerick. We go to Azur for special occassions, birthdays and Christmas. The food is always fantastic, the service is great and the atmosphere is always very good. The fish dishes are the best in town and I have never been disappointed with a meal in this restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal at great venue and also good value.

Azur 5.0 star review: We went to Azur for a casual dinner this evening, I picked based on the reviews of this site, I have to say they deserve the good review. Both of us were very happy with all our courses, the starter, main and dessert. I loved the salmon I ordered, it was cooked perfect and super tasty. The set menu has plenty to choose from too. We'll go back again.

Azur 5.0 star review: I've eaten in Azur about 5 different times, and keep going back. It's exceptional value for money, with top quality food and reasonable prices. Over the course of all my visits, I've eaten there with 6 different people, and we've all found every aspect of our visits flawless. On my most recent visit, I went with my girlfriend and another couple (one of whom was a chef). We each had a different starter, and we each found ours to be excellent. I had a chicken and chorizo salad with mustard dressing, and it was divine. My dining partners had a rissotto, soup, and bruscetta...each was exceptional. For mains, two of us had the steak (I get it everytime!), one had a trio of fish dish, and the last had another fish dish (I can't remember what exactly it was). The steak (medium) was perfect. I must call out at this point that the nicest steak I've ever had was at Azur on a previous visit. All the other mains courses were very well received as well, as were the desserts; two of us had the strawberry crepes with chocolate sauce, one had a trio of ice cream, and I can't recall what the last was. Needless to say though that everyone was very happy. I can't recommend Azur highly enough. Go there and fall in love with the place!
