The White Sage 5.0 star review: My husband, two teenage kids and I had a fabulous meal in this lovely quaint thatched cottage restaurant in Adare. The place is small with a homely feel. Food was delicious, fresh ,well cooked and a goood use of fresh herbs and seasoning. I had a lovely asparagus soup to start, followed by a fillet steak , exactly as I asked and tart for dessert. My daughter had the fois grais good, garnish with a berry coulis and vanilla syrup(real vanilla pod used) sirloin steak and some very lusious chocolate dessert obviously made good quality chocolate. Other meals included a lovely lamb dish where the meat was marinated for many hours 24or 36 I recall and then cook to your preference. I had a taste and it was just mouth melting , flavours were yummy. The service was excellent and on the night, they were very busy and the staff managed the place and table very efficiently and had plenty of time to describe for example how ther lamb was prepared. Attention to detail was good my plate was garnished with dried sliced onion and even this tasted good. We all love our food and I have to say this was one of the best meals we have had in a while and great value for money.
