I have been to this place many times and the one thing that I have noticed over a few months is that the staff seem to take longer and longer to take orders, even on a quiet day. Since the new renovations I have been hesitant to visit again. The old decor seemed to have character whereas the new decor is very bright and in your face. The food, especially the lunch menu, is good for those who want a nice lunch without a hefty price tag.

can't fault the place, busy city centre pub going traditional style...
we eat all time for lunch, everyday specials from €8.95 can't go wrong..
they do evening menu, 2 main courses for €9.95, ask the manager why, said to get foot fall in and try increase evening business, can see why, town is very quiet every where in Limerick.
Love the atmosphere and heated smoking area outside, table service when u just wanna chill is a real plus and nothings ever a prob.....
nothing fancy, just good irish family run pub :-) with value for money

Had the all day breakfast here yesterday.
Food was tasty and of good quality and there was plenty of it. I noticed most items on the menu were less than a tenner which is a good idea. It was busy here too. Recommended

I give this place top marks!! I've only ever been here for breakfast but love the place. I always change what's included on the breakfast menu and it's never a problem, and no extra charge. Plus they have fab coffee and the refills are free!!! Where else would you get that! Great food, great value, great service. Love it!

Very nice pub, great outdoor space for smokers. very cosy inside. Love the couch seats. Food always nice and good large portions. Staff are friendly. Would come here quite often for lunch.

had breakfast here this morning, good portions nicely presented and the service was really friendly and helpful will try here for lunch some time, the name has changed to O'CONNELLS but nothing else has really changed 061/401190 is the number in case anyone wants to give it a try..~!
