Very disappointing, cold and lacking atmosphere. We've had two bad experiences here in the last 2 months. A group of 9 of us went here for Sunday lunch 2 months ago and were very disappointed. Having been at Crokers about twelve months previously, we were expecting good food, good value for money and good service in a warm atmosphere. That was not our experience this time around. The food was sloppy, ungarnished, cold (had to send some back to reheat), and portions were small. The vegetables were watery and reheated to the point where they were simply mush on the plate. A vol au vent starter had been over-microwaved leaving the pastry like rubber. There was no heating on and we ate our dinners with our coats on. After writing a letter to the management to explain our disappointement, we eventually got a letter back with an offer of complementary lunch for two. Amongst other excuses, they mentioned that the boiler had been problematic on the day we were there, hence the place was cold. I returned yesterday (Sunday) with my partner, to use our voucher. The same cold restaurant awaited us. The food was as disappointing as previously. I will never darken the door again. In the current climate, where people are watching their money and demand value, Croakers is not worth the risk. Take your business elsewhere.

I have had one of the best meals out here in a long time there was nothing I could fault food was outstanding the staff were all Irish and very helpfull one even offered to take my 8month old so I could enjoy my dinner in peace. I couldnt say enough about the place and would highly recomend it for familys or just a realy good meal.

This is a very family orientated restaurant.And even has a playroom for kids with video monitors placed around the restaurant.The food has improved so much,And is a little bit pricey for Murroe.But nonetheless very,very nice. The fillet steak is to die for.Staff are amazing and will always accommodate.
