Cedarooms - Bar and Restaurant @ Killeshin Hotel 2.5 star review: I called here with a friend for lunch. The place was busy. I ordered fish and my friend had chicken. The fish was covered in batter - portion was huge but all I could taste was frozen fish and batter. Not great. The chicken was ok. No service with a smile here which is a pity. It seems to be a busy place for lunches but they won't have the pleasure of my company again.

The food is pretty standard nothing special. portion sizes are big which make up for the overpriced menu. service was fast but just smile. tell the truth chef did you use thinned tomatoes for the pasta? bit bland. taste before u serve!

Cedarooms - Bar and Restaurant @ Killeshin Hotel 5.0 star review: We stayed here last Saturday night on a hotel deal where you got an overnight bed & breakfast and an evening meal. We booked our meal with the receptionist when we checked into the hotel, however, the restaurant did not have any record of it when we later went for our meal. I thought this was a bad omen. How wrong I was! They quickly seated us and from then on, both the service and food were as good as I've experienced in a long time. The menu offered plenty of choices. For starters, I had garlic sauteed mushrooms and my partner had duck pate en croute. For mains, I had sea bass with chorizo and a goats cheese sauce (one of the best meals I have ever had), and my partner had the rack of lamb, perfectly cooked (which he is still raving about). Accompanying roasted veg and potato chips were perfect. Desserts were lovely and light, a warm apple pie for me and I think a chocolate fudge cake for himself. Coffee to finish off a lovely dining experience which was enhanced by the friendly and warm service. The restaurant was full but we never felt rushed and the staff appeared to be in full control.

Cedarooms - Bar and Restaurant @ Killeshin Hotel 5.0 star review: Very friendly and helpful staff. Busy atmosphere although I think I may have hit the lunch time rush. Limited menue but the Fish and Chips I had was to die for. Nicest I've had in a long time. So fresh, huge portions, very well presented. A well thought out dish. My companion had the curry and was as pleased as I was with the dish. Would definitely recommend.
